Arriving and departing
It is suggested to arrive the 12th of September and leave the 17th of September. If you arrive the 13th of September, please note that the program begins that day with Sadhana and the teaching begins at 9:30. The teaching ends 18:00 with dinner the 16th of September. Please note that dinner is also served the 12th September and breakfast the 17th of September.
Pricing, food and accommodation
Price is all-inclusive and includes teaching (between 13th – 16th September), accommodation between the 12th of September and 17th of September and food.
The price of 555 euros (525 for early bird paid before 1st of June) is a fixed price regardless of arrival or departure dates. The price does not include travel costs.
Arriving to Helsinki

The train connection between Helsinki city centre and Helsinki Airport takes about 30 minutes. There are two services: train I and train P. Schedules, ticket prices and routes are available at HSL website . At the airport you can buy a train ticket from the following spots:

- Alepa Grocery Store (T2 Arrivals Hall 2B)
- WH Smith (T1 Departure Hall)
- WH Smith (T2 Departure Hall)

Please note that it is not possible to buy a ticket in the train.
I and P trains offer good connections to long-distance train to different parts of Finland. Schedules, routes and prices are available at VR website .
Reaching the Venue
Syöte is reachable by plane or train to the nearest city (Oulu or Rovaniemi), with your own car, rental car or by using the public bus driving all the way to Syöte. From Helsinki 750km, from Oulu the distance is 145km, from Rovaniemi 170km and from Kuusamo 90km. Best flight connections are at this time of the year from Helsinki to Oulu.

By bus from Oulu to Poijula and then by taxi to Syöte
There are many bus connections from Oulu to Poijula and then continue by taxi to Syöte. The distance from Poijula to Syöte is approx. 28 km.

Scheduled buses Oulu – Pudasjärvi – Syöte
There is one direct bus connection from Oulu to Syöte and only on weekdays, from Monday to Friday. It is a good connection for trains heading from/to Helsinki. The bus is operated by Nevakivi Ltd. This bus drives to Pikku-Syöte in the mornings if necessary. http://nevakivi.fi/bussiaikataulut/
By Train The nearest railway station is located at Oulu. You can take a train from Helsinki to Oulu and continue to Syöte by bus, rental car or taxi.

By car
All main roads in Finland are maintained in very good condition. The most direct route from Helsinki to Syöte is the road E75 via Lahti, Jyväskylä and Oulu. Then it is only about 145 km from Oulu to Syöte. You should continue from Oulu along the highway 20 to the town Pudasjärvi. When you have reached Pudasjärvi continue onwards in the Kuusamo direction and on the way you will find road signs which lead you to the Syöte area.

Several car rental companies are located at the Oulu airport. Some of them are open only by prior reservation, so make sure to check the opening times and other information in the car rental companies’ websites.
